Epic vs. Evo which one plays more formats?

I'd like to expand upon what the Samsung website says.

The Epic can play 720p\1080p MKV files as well, provided you use the default video app OR mVideoPlayer from the market.

I've also had success playing xvid\divx AVI files (default app). The EVO can play AVI files with 3rd party apps... but that goes without saying for any android phone.

i guess no one has asked are you d/l it from the internet or watching it from the internet. if watching it from the internet then evo is better, or both can get rockplayer then epic is great

I know. That's why I gave the edge to the epic. Besides the screen on the epics is better than the evo as far as color goes
