Customize the Back of your Moto DROID's screen!

I'd like to make a picture request for the gold chrome. I hope it matches the gold accents on the Droid. If it does, I'd pick it up in a heartbeat.

gold chrome looks just like gold... the color that would be a near perfect match the "brown-sugar" accents would be Copper.

and to @rpartin, you know...i've never tried printing on them, but i can tell you the price of the machine i'd need to do that is upwards to $20,000...so i'm not sure if there is any cheap way to accomplish it. (i wish there was...my goal down the road is to be able to do that).

Is the pricing any different for these vinyl colors? Its not outstandingly clear on the website.

when you select a color that is a "Specialty" color it multiplies the price of the decal by the price multiplier associated with the color.

So, if you wanted a color that has a 1.5x multiplier, the price of the decal would go from $4 --> $6.00. The reason for that is the specialty colors are more expensive than the normal, basic colors.

Which on matches the gold on the Droid most, "Gold" or "Gold Chrome" ?
Edit: nm the answer was above.. so Copper is the color nearest the already present "gold" accents on the droid? Any chance we could see a pic?

Not exactly. I have the gel/silicone black snap on cover for the phone. I'm not willing to give that up because I like having the phone protected. I like the idea of having this hidden logo that is only seen when I'm texting (or showing it off). I think blue rocket is going to be able to hook me up with what I want by doing a cut-out of the logo.

I'm guessing the copper vinyl doesn't have the metallic luster though, right? Well, the chrome from the OP looks pretty nice anyways, and the carbon fiber is very interesting.

Actually coppper is a bit metallic, i will try to get pics for you soon.

the pictures above are of chrome, that is the closest to a mirror finish as we can offer.

I posted the link before I verified that they have decals for the back of the screen that's being discussed in this thread, they don't. The templates they have are front and rear only. Hopefully they add back of screen...

I don't have them for droid, but a co-worker has one for the top cover of his laptop, fully customized with a personal image and text, it looks very nice.

haha i'll get more pics later tonight (unfortunately I don't have Copper at my place) i'll have to get some from my main order processor, but "gold" actually is pretty close to the brown sugar accents.

Here's the first DROID related product I've come up with...

It's a vinyl overlay for the back of your Droid's screen (viewable when the screen is slid open). Some of you have removed the OEM plastic sticker and are experiencing a looser keyboard...this will help without having to return your droid.

Some of you may want to personalize your Droid...so choose one of many distinct colors that we offer, color shown in the images is "Chrome" which is kind of Palm Pre style.

Some of these are quite nice, but let's be straight. Is there really some epidemic of loose sliders because of removing that plastic sticker? I honestly felt no difference on mine, and some people I knew even had VZW employees remove it without asking. Most of them looked like a bubbly mess anyway.

I know the original had the square center cut-out, but notice you don't have that on some designs. Personally I prefer with no cut-out. Is that an option?

These look great! I still have my film on (although it's full of bubbles and fugly) and my screen has a satisfying friction and 'click' when engaged. I'm a bit hesitant to pull it off without knowing how well the replacement would hold up, but the carbon fiber has me tempted...

Would a vinyl decal stick to the back of the droid as well? Some little green robot outline action would go very well back there.

Yea I'd like to know how durable it is....looks sweet though. Specially that android popping out in gold.
