Root how am i still denied permission im a ninja user :(

my vibrant is rooted yet i have no permissions i cant get rid of bloat ware i almost crashed my phone doing a lag fix im bout to back up and do a full factory reset and start over unless some one could lemme know what root actually lets me do im just frustrated

Having root gives you "superuser" access to the OS. To get rid of bloatware use Titanium Backup. If you need to install Superuser do so here:

Superuser - Android app on AppBrain

Some root routines include a superuser app, perhaps some don't. Deal with the lag fix later.

Titanium Backup ? root - Android app on AppBrain

cow dude your awesome replying to all my rants the root i used had a lil ninja guy as my super user access but im still confused im gonna try the root explorer maybe what does it do first and as for bloat ware i guess im gonna see what that the titanium back up does

With Root Explorer you can manually remove apps by simply going to the file location(s) (sometimes it's only an .apk file and sometimes it's both an .apk and an .odex file).

Titanium Backup is somewhat easier in that you can open it and run the uninstall routine for a given app. Both Root Explorer and Titanium Backup need to be granted Superuser permissions to work. You'll be prompted to grant access when you start these apps.

You can always make backups for any apps you decide to whack with Titanium Backup as well.

See the list on post #6. I'm sure you can turn up other lists through searching.

I just realized what you meant by "lil ninja guy." Yep...you're fine on Superuser then. You'll see what it does when you try Root Explorer or Titanium. :)
