Root CyanogenMod Features Wishlist for Droid X

So as I continue to hear more and more about how excellent CyanogenMod is, and hear of all the features that are being enjoyed on the original Droid, I decided to come up with a wishlist of features that I'd like to see come to the Droid X eventually.

If you have any knowledge of alternatives to include similar functionality in the Droid X today, or know of upcoming features being developed, post it in the thread!

Features I'd Like to See

• Swipe to clear notifications
• Fast Boot
  -OMJ: "I dont think that the Droid X is fastboot capable although I could be wrong."
• Touch-to-focus camcorder
• Notification "quiet hours"
  -kensdavid: "Locale is an option but the features should be built in"
• Full screen browser and ability to change user agent etc.
  -aflat: "You can switch the user agent already. In your browser, in the address bar, type in "about:debug" with no quotes. Then press your menu button, and near the bottom of the menu is User agent."
• LED color change ability
  -soapinmouth: "led light can be changed with apps no root required"
  -kensdavid: "Try using Blink - Flash LED in Your Way"
• Status bar color change
• Cyanogen's Phone/Contacts apps
• Lockscreen music controls
  -kensdavid: "My DX has had lockscreen music controls since upgrading to FroYo, unless there's a specific CM lockscreen I'm not familiar with..."

It is a very popular rom for the original droid, as well as many other android devices, that contains many of the hottest features developed for the android platform built in.

CM isn't going anywhere near DX until the bootloader issue is resolved. Steve said so a few months back when he was slammed with inquiries on when his team was going to release CM6 for the X. He's a fundamentalist through and through concerning android, and hates modded phones of any capacity (including HTC and sense).

That being said, I would love it when/if CM comes to the X. He was all I used on my Magic and N1.

It is a very popular rom for the original droid that contains many of the hottest features developed for the android platform built in.

It's for plenty more devices than just the Droid. He was one of the original hackers back in the G1 days.

I dont think that the Droid X is fastboot capable although I could be wrong.

I know koush has said he will make a Droid X/Droid 2(They are that similar 1 rom could work for both) build of CM once the bootloader is unlocked. Until then it doesnt look like anyone is going to take the project on.

I a lot of CM features I would love to see the browser with the full screen browser and ability to change user agent and all the other things it has.
The LED color change ability would be great.
Status bar color change
Phone/Contacts apps
Lockscreen music controls

Thats all I can think of without actually looking at the changelog but there are plenty more features I would love to have.

yea I know but its a lot easier not having to do about debug and about:debug settings dont stay if you close your browser.

I don't see anything to interesting here, you can change your notification bar color through themes and led light can be changed with apps no root required. I know there's one for like a dollar that changes the color for emails calls texts whatever, and there's handcent for texts which is free and you can pick your colors any color you can think of.

frankly id just like to see and unlocked bootloader and cm6 on my x. that would get me to return from the incredible for daily use.

Personally I dont really like themes they all seem to change more than I want. I did have to make my own for the DX because I wanted a black notification bar and pull down but thats it.

A lot of the stuff that CM accomplishes can be done by other means but having it all built into a rom is much cleaner and easier. Below is a link to the full changelog
