Here's what I did..

I recharged the phone, turned it off, bump charged it, rebooted into recovery and wiped the battery stats. I then used it for about 2 minutes to force stop a few apps, then I loaded up the music player, put my headphones in, set it to play all, then I went to bed.

This is what I woke up to.

It remained at 97% for about another 5 minutes and it began dropping a percentage every 2-3 minutes after that until it stopped at 91%.

Stock battery.

As a matter of fact, when I woke up, it said the battery was still at 100% until I had turned the display on for about 5 minutes. Then it began dropping by about a percent every 2-3 minutes until it hit 91% and it kind of hung there.

I have it recharging now and will turn it off to bump charge and wipe the battery stats again.

I'll see where it goes from there.

Edit: And the music player doesn't use much battery at all, as long as you are using headphones.

Charging the phone counts as awake time if you do it via pc I think?

Not that I am aware of. Mine is always set as 'charge only'.

And to Kori, you have to be rooted and have clockworkmod recovery installed.

If you have that, boot into recovery, go to advanced, and it will have an option to wipe battery stats.

What you need to do is charge the phone all the way, turn it off and bump charge it a few times, boot into recovery, wipe stats, then reboot. Now run the battery until it is dead and now your phone will have an accurate calibration of your battery.

How do you wipe battery stats? Step by step idiot-proof instructions, please lol

You have to be rooted

If you are, bump charge your battery to full, boot into recovery, select "advanced" then select "wipe battery stats"

WIping battery stats has done something to similar to me before. I don't really know what to make of it other than wiping the battery stats seems to make the battery meter drain at a more consistent rate rather than dropping quickly then plateau'ing etc...

Whoa. Battery was fully charged with no apps running and background data disabled. Over the past 2 hours my phone has dropped to 70%..the most significant loss being in the past hour when it went from 86%-72% with me never turning the display on.

Is it possible to have messed up a connection when I disassembled the phone?

Definitely something wacky going on.

Battery was at 61%, I booted into recovery and installed a new kernel, turned the phone back on and it says fully charged with the battery voltage at 4157 mv

It also says my battery temp is 64.4 degrees. It has never been that cool, and from holding it, it is at least 80-90 degrees.

It is measuring it in degrees Celsius; 64.4C is 147.9F. Your battery should never be reaching that temperature.
