Fascinate Browser vs Dolphin or others

My question is, "Is Dolphin HD browser (or any other browser) better than/or worth using in place of the Samsung Fascinate's stock browser?"

I haven't found any direct answers to this question. I found lots of posts recommending the Dolphin HD browser, but that was compared to older android phones stock browsers.

I've had my fascinate for about two weeks now, and don't have a problem with the browser, but was wondering what other people's opinions are of the fascinate's vs other browsers. Always looking to make the phone better/faster.

All opinions are appreciated.
Thanks

I know others like it a lot, but I eventually went back to the stock browser. Just to qualify, I am a newbie to the android platform, have had my SF for about 2 weeks now. Dolphin maybe had "too much" for me, and the main problem I had was when I was scrolling around the screen esp left to right, the side panel menu bars kept popping up instead of just moving the screen.

Xscope 6 is really nice and has a lot of features with a really minimal ui give it a couple days to learn and master the features and I'm sure you will love it. That being said I don't have a problem with the stock browser but I use things like the user agents and other settings in the third party browsers.

I was eventually going to start a thread about this. I do a lot of browsing, enough to warrant trying to find the most efficient and fastest browsing experience.

I've tested Dolphin HD and xScope. Both appeared to be just as fast as the other in loading up select websites I've tested out. I look the look and feel of xScope better as, yes, Dolphin HD does feel a bit "heavy"...

Your own thread might be a good idea but I'll throw in a bit here. It really does depend what sites you go to and how many different ones you go to. Overall I would give xscope the nod over dolphin

I haven't had any problems with stock browser as far as zooming or getting to websites that I want to go, except that I have to go to mobile pages first and click on the full page link.

From that article suggested above, i downloaded skyfire so that I can watch flash videos since verizon and Samsung are taking their good ol' time to release Froyo. Haven't had time to compare its speed vs stock.

I'm still up in the air about trying Dolphin and Xscope. I also don't really want to pay for something that is not going to offer significant advantages over fascinate's stock browser.

I'm playing with xscope right now. Spent a while messing with all the settings and getting them the way I like. It's got a few bugs but it's a new version so I'll give that a pass (my notification bar keeps popping up even though I have it set to not show). I like some of the UI, especially swiping between tabs and long click to open a link in a new tab.

Really though, I got it because a lot of people say it's significantly faster than Dolphin HD. Maybe he's working out the kinks on this new one, but I don't really find it to be faster at all. Not at loading websites, and in particular I feel like Dolphin HD does a better/faster job of rendering text when zooming.

Just my quick impression. I'll play with it a little longer tonight but I'm leaning towards the refund.
