Root Panorama Assist Camera FC (FlyX, now RubiX)

I recently upgraded to FlyX and just today to RubiX, but I was too lazy to SBF to stock before upgrading (I just added it right over). I realized that doing so didn't fix the camera Panorama assist FC issue in FlyX, and I was wondering if there was a workaround. I have but 2 questions:

1. Does rubiX have the same camera FC issue? If not then I may consider SBF-ing and redoing everything.

2. Would downloading a stock 2.2 camera.apk and replacing the one I have fix the issue?

Any help would be great thanks!

Hum I'm actually not so sure it is a flyx thing. I just tried it on my phone and it closes too to home screen, and I have never installed flyx at all. In the process of installing RubiX the system, data, and cache should have all been wiped too. Anyway hopefully this gets fixed on the next release of RubiX.

Yeah Airmaxx23 posted a fix for this over on the rubiX thread. You just have to replace the camera apk with the stock one:

Airmaxx23:

I got the panorama assist issues straightened out this morning, I've uploaded the blurcamera.apk file that worked for me, you can download it HERE.

All you need to do is put the file on your sdcard, then use root explorer to delete the current blurcamera.apk file from system/app, then copy the new apk file and move it to system/app, you then need to change the permissions to: user; read, write - group; read - and others; read. If you try to install the file it will not work, you just need to power down the phone, turn it back on and you should be all set..
