Itunes Agent and playlists?

I have tried the motorola software, doubletwist, and now Itunes agent. I am finally able to transfer music from my itunes to my droid. I thought I was going to be able to have the playlist (such as Jazz) from my itunes also available on my droid. I have the music on my droid, but there isn't anything under playlists on my droid. Is it possible to have the playlist show up on the droid?

you can use the software Salling Media Sync the free version has all the same features i believe as the paid one, but the free version transfers files slow. It gets the job done i created a playlist called droid jamz and synced with my droid and worked perfectly all songs show up on phone in the correct playlist.

Unfortunately, it doesn't work for me either. I have all my music on a network drive and the itunes agent seems to be the only one that works with a network drive.

I have my music on my server and Salling Media Sync works without any problems. My iTunes is installed locally however all paths within iTunes are via UNC paths to my network drive. I'm able to sync both normal and Smart Playlists without any issues.

The free version is slower since it removes all media with each sync instead of syncing only changes.

1st time poster...I use Motorola too and it works fine. Tried the updated Songbird last night and it seems good so far. Syncs playlists to Droid.

I'm not quite sure why there aren't just a ton of posts for Songbird! This is a Mozilla project which many label the iTunes killer...and rightfully so!

This player kicks with auto lyric downloads, artist info, plugins for concerts that can be filtered to just artists in your library, etc. This pretty much beats every other player that people have been trying with the Droid. It will pull in changes from iTunes and replicate changes back to iTunes (if you decide to even keep iTunes after using Songbird).

I have found two flaws that I'm trying to resolve:

1) The Droid profile they have doesn't have m4a files listed as valid to be used on the Droid and sends them to the Droid as an OGG file. This looks really easy to fix by editing a SBsettings.xml file on the Droid's SD card root directory but I'd like to see them fix their Droid spec.

2) The Droid profile also looks to be slightly off on playlists. The playlists show in the music player but when you open them to play they don't show any songs. I also don't see the m3u files on the SD card anywhere so I'm wondering how the player picks up the playlists to begin with.

Other than these two items, it syncs the music flawlessly and the app itself on the PC is simply OUTSTANDING! Not too busy of an interface like MediaMonkey, far beyond doubleTwist and iTunes (iTunes only from a music perspective, there is no podcasts in Songbird), more feature rich than the Moto tool, etc. For music, this app is the real deal.

i've tried itunes agent doubletwist and motorola media sync. neither itunes agent or doubletwist were able to get my playlists on the droid, they just synced the song files. i just used motorola media sync and it worked perfectly with my itunes playlists. i recommend motorola media sync

Does anyone know if this will work with Droid Incredible?
