Did Everyone Get The Recent Software Update?

They'll need to flash you up to DI07 and you'll get them after that. You'll have to set everything back up fromm scratch though.

You could flash it yourself if you feel comfortable doing that kind if thing.

So you are telling me my phone is not up to date and I should be getting these updates over the air but im not? Im telling you im ready to throw this god dam thing right through Sprints front window.

Not up to date. Because off the version you are on it won't let you get the updates (can't skip from A to C in the alphabet if that makes sense). Once you get on a current version, OTAs will work fine. :)

Lunch break is over, back to work I go.

1. First, grab this file and place it in the root of your SD card.
2. make sure its named update.zip and nothing else. if its named something else like update1.zip, change it to update.zip
3. turn phone off
4. Hold down camera, volume down and power buttons.
5. Use volume down to select SDCard: update.zip
6. Press Home on the capacitive buttons to select.
7. Phone should automatically install and reboot.

Upload cap is definitely fixed. You MUST have DI07 installed for this to work.

Both our Epics were stuck on DG17. I ended up following the steps here first. You'll be starting over from scratch, like when you first got it, but with DG27. After rebooting, within a few minutes I got a message on both to update to DI07. It actually happened first, while I was trying to figure out how to get there manually.

After I accepted that and let it run, I had DI07.. So I was able to easily download the new update (DI18) to the SD card and run it. Just make sure you remember to rename it from the long file name, to just "update.zip" - the second line in the instructions.
