Hey my fellow Xperia X10 users.
The charger for my laptop has broken, and I am writing this message with the last 5 minutes left on my laptop

Anyway, I have just ordered another but I am going on holiday to whales tomorrow so I will not be online to help anyone, till next week.

If any good news comes up about the Xperia, please email me at cubz90@gmail.com

Thanks :)

Have fun guys

just got back today :) My new laptop charger arrived this morning so that was lucky :)

Had a great holiday, we didn't want to come home to the reality of everything else :D

We decided to collect tickets in the arcade, my girlfriend wanted to get a 'me to you' nursery set which was 1500 tickets. Last night we had collected 1300 and needed another 200, so I thought i'd try my luck on a 10p machine to try and win jackpot, and funnily enough I actually won the jackpot and received 250 tickets :D

back to the subject of android ....

I decided to use Google Navigation on the way to prestatyn, because I didn't know exactly where Pontins was. I can confirm that Google Navigation is VERY unreliable (for long journeys anyway). It took me the longest way that exists, through country lanes, closed roads, cliff tops, etc, it was a nightmare!! On the way back I found out what the quickest way was, and decided to turn Google navigation on to see if it would direct me the quickest way, and again it was trying to direct me the wrong way, again.

I don't think I'll be using Google Navigation again.

Another thing...I got an email from T-Mobile while in whales, telling me I could sign up to use the signal from Orange when I don't have a signal (which was happening alot in whales), I don't know if anyone else has signed up to this, but since I did, my signal seemed to have gotten worse

Anyway, we had a great time :D

Hey Cubz glad you had a nice time and can also get back online with the old laptop too.

There was a thread on yesterday or day before about the orange/tmo thing, I've done it on mine and my son's phones. We are off to the wilds of Cornwall Saturday week so thought it might not be a bad shout. Was all very simple and straightfoward.

I've only used the SatNav locally when I first got it to see where it would take me and how quickly it would readjust if I altered the route and was fairly impressed. Have used maps as navigation tool when hubby driving and we got sent off on a petered out diversion and ended up in the middle of nowhere and that was OK too. I might set it up for the journey to cornwall and see where it takes us... maybe north side of the M25 instead of south!!

Anyway, good to have you back on board.

Well since I've got home, my signal has been perfect again, full 3G signal, I don't think Wales agrees with mobile phones :D

I've download Co-Pilot Live 8 and i'm going to try that next time I'm on my travels anywhere :) Maybe when I go to Ireland in January to visit the family, with my newborn son :)

We were there this time last year, on the Cardigan coast and there was one spot on the window ledge where the phone could get a couple of bar of signal, with a good following wind and clear skies. 2cm one way or another and you were lost. Mind you we were on a 600ft cliff top in the middle of nowhere so wasn't expecting full 3g coverage, its just you forget how much you take for granted living in suburbia!

lol :D

Well the signal was good in some places. I was trying to download the latest episode of 'How I Met Your Mother', which is 175mb, onto my phone and I must have tried to download it more than 20 times over 3 days, and finally got it downloaded yesterday by leaving my phone on top of the wardrobe lol. Also I had forgotten to turn data romaing on while using the Orange signal, as that popped up alot while I was there.
