I did a quick search but didn't find anything, so apologies if it's a re-post.
My Desire was crashing, so I requested a replacement with O2 business.
I upgraded to 2.2 last week using the software update link on the phone.
Today I received my 'new' handset from O2 which still has 2.1-update1 as the firmware version. When I tried to upgrade I was informed there is no newer version.
Spoke to O2 business, who told me that HTC had withdrawn it again. I'm kinda pleased that my 2.2 desire has been sent back, if there are serious enough issues with Froyo for it to be withdrawn.
I did like a couple of things extra in the menu structures, but is it really that important?
I'll await O2's next move with anticipation
