Personally, after a few hours of research and YouTube videos, I'm surprisingly going MoH. I'd like to have both, but I've always been a bigger fan of Battlefield 2 style larger maps, and team oriented gameplay, with less lone wolf run and gun. Black Ops looks very interesting with their new additions and currency system though. Just thought i'd put this up to see others decisions.

I'd love to have both on PC, and though my PC can handle them, I'm going PS3. Mainly because of the 55" Monitor in my living room. Anyone know if MoH PC has dedicated clan servers? That may sway my decision from PS3 to PC...
Yeah PC is usually where I like to be for fps'. The PC vs console debate does not need to re-hashed again here of course. I won't be getting either for the 360 [no PS3 at mi casa] but they both could find their way to my PC, maybe. My bro has MoH on pre-order for his PS3

I'm leaning towards MOH because 1) I haven't played any of the Battlefield/Bad Company games 2) It seems much more realistic than Black Ops.

I thoroughly enjoyed COD4. MW2 was a bit of a decline for me, and I think Black Ops would be down the same path (although the wager matches look sick *cough*oneinthechamber*cough*). I'm looking for something different so I'm willing to give MOH a try. I heard some bad things about the beta but that's why it was a beta. Hopefully they improve the game with the final product.

If I don't enjoy MOH, I can always sell it and get Black Ops when it comes out in November.

Sounds like something I'd be doing. I will give them both a try, but I really doubt I will be able to play a lot before Christmas time either way. Schedule on the university is too tight.

I know lot of people here dont like the zombies. But that is mainly what I will be getting black ops for, and the credit gambling is pretty gimmicky and not the best of ideas imo. And i'll just download MoH...

Pre-drinking game with 3 other people playing Zombies before going out is great fun. I must say there is things about BO that makes me want to grab it, rest might take me with a surprise.

Same goes for MoH, there is certain things there that intrigues me.

I will be getting Black Ops.

Something about MOH that reminds me too much of Battlefield 2.

I loved the SP of Battlefield 2, but the multi-player was not fun for me at all.

I dont like the HUGE open maps and something about the animations not being as smooth as COD's.

Not hating on MOH, just saying that it reminds me a lot of B2.

Anyone else feel like it resembles it?

Black Ops on the other hand looks silky smooth as butter, and I love their animations.

EDIT: Battlefield Bad Company 2 is the game I was meaning to say.

Black Ops is coming with a zombie mode???

Please inform!

Also, your last sentence there, are you implying that you will be "downloading" MOH, or buying it. Hmmm mmm you dont have to answer that last question, its a rhetorical question.

The multiplayer of MoH uses the same engine as BC2.

Ya zombies has been confirmed by Tryarch. They are redoing the old zombie maps too if your interesting in that, as well as new ones..

And I have a modded 360 so i only buy games I will end up putting more then 24 in game hours into. I like BC2 a lot, but I hear terrible things about the MOH beta... So I am very skeptical. Since DICE makes both of them and runs the same engine, dunno how they could mess it up so bad.. They have quite a bit of time to fix it tho.

I guess I should just keep my mouth shut tho :p I think it might be against forum rules for saying things about illegal stuff? or just promoting it?

Do you play your modded Xbox on live? I had a modded Xbox about a year ago that was banned in the great ban wave of 2009, so I fell out of the scene.

Funny, ever since it got banned, I hardly ever play on Live any more, or buy any Xbox games. Shot yourself in the foot there, Microsoft.

That I didnt know. Thanks for that!

No problem! I initially had high hopes for the game for this reason. I LOVE BC2 on PC. It's a bit dumbed down since it's also a console game, but it definitely had me sucked in just like I was (and still am) with Battlefield 2.

However, the implementation is terrible with MoH. It just feels like a BC2 mod that's trying to be MW2 but takes the worst from both games and puts it all in one. No recoil, no bullet physics (or so it seems, everything is a laser basically), poor level design, and it's $60 on PC instead of $50. All in all, it's a disaster. I promptly got a refund on my pre-order when I played the original beta, and the current beta is just as bad.

Ya I play on live. I think the mod scene is much more advance now then even a few years ago. I dont play big name games on a live account before street dates. Apparently when there are game update, some companies try to throw in stealth updates that will expose a modded 360. So you just dont update till someone tries it and gives the OK. I have friends who have had moded boxes for 3+ years, just need to not do stupid nonsence and you are fine I think. lol
