Hi there

I'm on Orange and, last week, I upgraded my phone to 2.2. Well, I actually had to do two updates, the first being the software number upgrade from 1.15 to 1.22, and then the FroYo update.

There were no hiccups during the upgrade process and initially the phone worked perfectly. That was until I used the internet browser...

I use the HTC onboard browser which, prior to the update, was a joy to use. Since upgrading to 2.2 it has been laggy, has trouble zooming, flickers, and often chucks me out altogether.

Has anyone else experienced similar problems? Any ideas of what I should do to fix it?

I had similar issues after upgrading which I put down to problems with Flash. So I installed Flash player 10.1 and then uninstalled it (as it's 12mb!) and everything, so far, seems ok again.

just downloaded Android 2.2 on my AT&T Samsung Captivate. On the browser, it never goes to the homepage unless I turn the phone off and then on. Killing the app doesn't work either; if I kill the browser and then go on it again, it simply goes to the last web page that I had displayed. If I turn the phone off and then on, the browser will go to my designated home page.
This was never a problem with Android 2.1.
Why is that?
