Droid reception???

So I just got my Droid 3 days ago. came from a HTC Imagio (what a POS that was). Anyways, I have noticed that the reception on my Droid is not nearly as good as my Imagio (eventhough it was a POS). When at work, my Droid has less bars and phone calls seem to cut in and out. My Imagio never had that problem. So is the Droid known for bad reception? Is there a fix?

On your other thread about WiFi, I believe that you mention that you are on 2.2. Is this so?

If so, can you verify the actually version of 2.2? Is it an early version, of FRG22D or later?

The reason I ask is that I was a part of a Motorola study group concerning Voice Call Quality, and more than a few of the respondees who actually had real problems have grudgingly admitted that 2.2 has solved the vast majority of their problems - but only after FRG22D was put into place.

It is FRG22D (I didnt even know their was anything past that). The reception isnt horrible, it just isnt as good as the other phone I had. Same with the WiFi; not bad, but seems to drop connections, where as my other phone never did that.
