Help two different call answer screens?

Menu > settings > sound and display > unlock screen > select.

I'm talking about the incoming call screen, not the unlock screen. I always have the unlock screen set to puzzle (instead of glass), and I still get both incoming call screens.

I believe you get the puzzle pieces when the phone is locked and a call comes in. The other screen is when the phone is already unlocked.

That's a negatory. Just tested it with the phone locked and unlocked. I got the puzzle pieces both times.

However! when I switched it to glass, I got the answering screen with the buttons while unlocked, and I got a completely different answering screen when it was locked. It looked like normal android, with the sliders on both sides. So I've found a total of 3 call answering screens. Weird.

I get two different screens when my phone rings. One has the puzzle pieces, where i have to slide them in order to answer/ignore the call. The other just has regular buttons. They occur randomly. Why do I have two?

Are you using Google Voice?

If so, some Market apps address the issue (in a round about way) by allowing users to configure and select what unlock screens are present for incoming calls.

nope, regular calling. no google voice.

so far i've seen these three:

puzzle piece answering
regular buttons answering
Droid style slide buttons answering

This phone can't make up its mind on what it wants to be, lol

Same problem here, Feb 03, 2011. This phone is confusing. I cannot find a way to make it auto-answer at all. I always have my phones connected to a bluetooth headset, and I can't be pulling it out of my pocket to find the answer button riding a motorcycle.
