Thanks Chief, I installed that same update awhile back, but unfortunately it is only a 'half' fix. It allows you to initiate a call from a BT headset, but instead of dialing the # you request, it just pops up a dialog box on the screen w/ a list of potential numbers. You then have to tap the correct # on the screen. Sorta defeats the whole purpose of handsfree BTVD. So, BTVD is actually still broken. I'm not sure the dev is even aware of this. I was the 1st one to submit a bug report on his support site about it, but then his site got nuked shortly thereafter.

Bizarre. It worked perfectly for me without having to do anything on the screen.

I know I am anxious to see and flash UD 1.0.0. I have a feeling this will be the rom of all roms for the droid.

In the meantime while we are waiting i figured I'd pose a question to you all to pacify some time. I was curious as to whether you use a screen protector or not. I know that the droid is made with Gorilla Glass and supposedly very scratch resistant (I am sure we have all seen the youtube videos). What are your thoughts?

I currently have been using a screen protector since day 1 on my droid but I have come down to my last screen protector in the 3 pack and I am debating going naked and I wanted to know everyone's thoughts.

Mine's been naked since a week after it's release (last November). Not a scratch. I am careful with my stuff ... but even still, this glass rocks!

I started using the crap screen protectors provided by Verizon, then went to a Seidio, which is excellent, very smooth, with minimal finger prints. I would go without but was taking a pottery class, lots of sand, which I hear even the Gorilla glass doesn't like.

My opinion on screen protector's: Tried it for a month or so since I got my droid back in January and from what I remember that thing got me pissed lol. First, the start coming off so easily. Second, they make my screen look ugly. Third, Gorilla Glass is too amazing. My cousin got the Droid 2 and the VZW rep convinced him to get the protector and he took it off within a week. Lets just face the fact that there is no need for a screen protector!!!!!!!!!!!!! So yeah thats my little rant on protectors.

One question though that is besides the point: Directed to The_Chief: In your signature I have noticed that you recently changed it to Ultimate Droid 1.0.0. Did someone give you the file? Or have I been lost and it came out already?

Another question before I forget: For some reason I just noticed that my bluetooth doesn't work at all. As in when I tried to give my cousin a file through Bluetooth File Transfer my bluetooth won't even turn on. I rarely use bluetooth so I don't even care that much but I just want it fixed just in case I decide to get a bluetooth or something. Also I know it's not a problem w/ the app b/c I tried to turn it on via the power control widget and thru settings. Wow that was a lot of typing! So much for a quick reply.
