I like it a lot. Do you have any suggestions for reading material for tweeking the system on my own like that?

For the icons I played around with PhotoShop tweaking until I got the desired look then ran a batch to convert them all at once. Using app organizer (free market) I made folders and used the desired icon for each. Emails, text (handset) iheart and the phone are actually widgets / shortcuts using tasker (paid app that does many many tasks).
Running LFY 1. 7 THEMEDwith smoke( LFY allows for changing system text colors).
1. 7 didn't come with the Google search themes so I had to snag it from 1. 6 by opening up both zip files deleting all the apk files under apps on 1. 7 and taking just the Google app from 1. 6 smoke theme and placing it in 1. 7 app folder. Then add to phone 's sdcard and running it as you do any theme just over the top.

Mine is kinda blah, but I dont like a whole lot of to much clutter. My far left and far right screens are blank, so I didnt even include those.

The text icons are from manup's revolution theme to use with launcherpro. Here's a link to the download Evolution_Dock.zip . If link doesn't work,go here and download the 'evolution_dock.zip'. Just extract the zip in astro and there's probably about 50 different icons. The music app is the alternate music app included in most ROM's now..but it's also available in the market. The name of it is "music mod" and has several widget sizes. The clock app is 'd-clock widget'. The battery widget is "battstatt'.

This is a link to Manup456 website with instructions on how he did it. It's time consuming but looks cool. He has the downloads on that site. The basic text icons I had from revolution them (emdmao just posted those links above me).

thanks! although clemson is having a rough season, you will still find me in the stadium every home game. i may be a bit biased, but it most definitely is one of the best gameday atmospheres in the country. i have been to other big schools (Texas A&M, Texas, Michigan, Penn State, most of the SEC) and tailgating there is nothing like it is here. the only school that i have been to that even comes close is UGA... as much as i hate to admit it, lol. if you haven't ever been down for a game, you should try to make a trip. as long as we keep up our mediocre performance, you should be able to find tickets pretty cheap.
