Help Need to sync with ITunes..apps??

Huh... I was just sitting here wondering the same thing earlier today. I'd much rather stick with iTunes for my music management. Good or bad, it's what I'm used to lol.

Oh crap, I guess it doesn't matter anyway since all my music is on my mac and macs don't see this phone, according to all the reports. Grr.

My Mac sees my phone just fine. Just turn on USB debugging, then mount it in the notification panel.

One way to sync from iTunes to the Moment is using Double Twist (available on PC and Mac). Works fine on my laptop (G4 Powerbook running 10.5). The only problem is none of my ID3 tags show up at all (various other forums and sites mention ID3 v2.3 and 2.4 tags may not working in Android, while other places say they work fine). However, I think that's due to how iTunes tags them and nothing to do with Double Twist. Probably just need to re-tag my library with another application.

I was having the same problem with my ID3 tags.

iTunes will let you convert ID3 tags all the way back to 1.0. Just select all the songs, right click, and then select the Convert ID3 tag option. I just reverted them back to 2.3 and copied the songs over to my MicroSD card instead of trying to do a sync. So far it seems to work fine, though I've only done a few songs for testing purposes. I'll do my entire library when I get home from work.

That sounds promising... thanks! So that's completely drag-and-drop... no need for a 3rd party app? I'll have to give it a go when I have time.

Yeah it seemed to work fine. I don't organize my music into folders, and it obviously won't sync playlists. But I don't use playlists, so it's fine. All my music is filenamed "artist - song.mp3" in the "My Music" folder. So I just copied the whole folder over after I reverted my ID3 tags to 2.2 on my home PC (just to be safe). It's working great (finally).
