Root Virtuous or Uncommon Sense

I have had both and don't really see any differences except the rosie bar. Just wondering which one has better battery life? And the only reason I have Uncommon Sense is for the customizations, which I can't seem to find, so does anyone know what all I can customize.

I've been looking for the customizations in Uncommon Sense as well but can't find them .... battery life seems marginally better than the standard ROM but nothing amazing ... probably due to some of the apps I use rather than the ROM itself.

I put Uncommon Sense 1.1 last week (my first rom after root). I liked it better then stock sense. As I was looking around at other options, I wanted to put the REVOlution theme and everything I read said you could put many things over Uncommon. I flashed Virtuous, then REVOlution over it. I added the slide swipe (it's an arch instead of straight lft-rght). I lost the track ball wake feature though, not sure why Virtuous doesn't have it built in.

I "appear" to be getting better life out of Virtuous although we all know that is subjective.

I've had both. I like Virtous but like Uncommon Sense more. I do really like the music controls on the lock screen.

+1 for virtuous. I used to strictly use the stock ROM but like the battery icon mods that Virtuous uses.

Just installed the Virtuous kernel and can tell you within half an hour that it makes all the difference. Before this, when using Uncommon, I could watch % tick off the battery...probably 1-2% every 7 minutes or so when the phone was on, perhaps every 15 minutes when off. In half an hour with Virtuous, haven't lost a single %.

Running Virt 3.1 and loaded the Custom Kernal from RomManager. Seems to be working out well right now.

I rooted a few weeks ago and haven't ventured into custom ROMS yet, although I'm getting impatient to try one. Virtuous sounds like the best to start with, but can anyone confirm that App Inventor will work OK with it?

I've been trying to get the new Skyraider 3.3 with the Uncommon Sense theme to work the last day or two but have been running into problems with HTCcontact, HTCmail, titanium backup, and a few other things, but I always seem to end up back at Virtuous v3.1 with the Incredible rEVOlution theme. Virtuous for me always seems to be the most stable and battery friendly ROM.
