GPS and Camcorder Issue

I am having issues with the GPS and Camcorder on Virtuous Rom

When I attempt to use GPS it is never able to determine my position

When I attempt to record a video at any resolution my phone power cycles.

I am obviosly rooted and unfortunately havent been able to do the 2.x radio update I cant figure out how.. My computer is running Linux Mint 9 KDE if anyone wishes to give me pointers on doing the radio thought I would appreciate help with any of these issues

Your GPS issue is more than likely related to lacking the 2.x radio. See the link here to update your radio.

I am not sure about the camcorder...havent had any issues with mine thus far.

The problem I am having updating my radio is that I previously had Cyanogen on my phone so I already have nandroid installed when I put the PB31.zip on the card and reboot into the bootloader the restore option takes me into nandroid instead of installing the update. I have tried installing the radio through nandroid but it doesnt seem to take.

You shouldnt be going in to restore, when you put the .zip file in the root of the SD card and boot to HBOOT after a few seconds it will automatically start to update with the PB13IMG.zip

....Alright I feel dumb I hadnt used unrevoked forever to achieve S-OFF... Im a moron problem solved radio update done... And incidentally it did fix my GPS and Camcorder. The radio for some reason I'm not smart enough to understand is involved with the camcorder I had the same issue with CM6 without the 2.x radio

I didn't even think to ask about S-OFF, glad it worked. I knew it would for the GPS, (I had the same issue with my phone) I didnt realize that it would fix the Camcorder!!

Learn something new!
