Ok I've gotten to the point of giving up but not really lol. I have been trying for weeks to try and tether my XBL with my AnDroid .I have been trying it wireless type and wired. The wireless type I've been using the wifi tether app along with the xbl wifi .When I turn on the wifi router on the XB , the Droid tether shows up and connects just fine, however, It will not connect the profile to xbl . Any one have any ideas here ?

The other I've been trying to get to work is doing the wired route and by going into all my settings and changing them over like you would doing the open server deal I dunno lol threw the properies and adding the XBL ports. Now the problem I have with this I can change just about every port to one another by port 2 and port 5 .Port 2 needs to be 53 TCP / UCP < that one .When I switch to accept it tells me that I have the same ports being used.I've tried this method on a friends computer who is using Windows 7 and it works just fine changing ports wise.Does any one have any suggestions on either of these two topics?

I used to have the moto droid but didn't know what happened after updates... I looked at my daughters phone today and it "does not" have the same hotspot software the Incredible has... at least its not labeled the same.

Whats more important, the DUN settings to access hotspot tether were not available on the motodroid... at least not in the same format as the incredible.

I would do a search and see if anyone is doing wireless tether with the moto.

Pda.net works like a charm but it requires the cable and wireless bluetooth tether is not dependable.. "I've had it going but its flaky"
pda.net is more for accessing the web on another device such as your laptop using your phone as the 3g modem.... It won't do wireless hotspot that I'm aware of.

So the only option I am aware of is to do some research or get an incredible, or pay for the service.

Okay, I downloaded the wireless tether app. yesteday. The first time I used it I saw 2 different things in my list of wireless networks on my laptop. One said "AndroidTether" the other said unsecured computer-computer network. Now I only see the computer-computer one. Is this the one I'm supposed to be using?
