Hi,
I tried searching, I could not find how to install BlurSNMessagingEngine.apk, it has been uninstalled somewhere on one of the themes but now I do not want to re due everything I have done. (it most likely is posted somewhere but I can not find it yet)

Could someone please tell me how to re install BlurSNMessagingEngine.apk

I tried root explorer install and it tells me it cant

I tried to copy it using root explorer, I then fix the permissions from root explorer and even run fix permissions from rom manager and it does not show up as a text app for me?

Is there any way I can zip it and use rom manager "install .zip)?

any ideas PLEASE!!!!

Thank You

I tried what you said and nothing

now I do have the mms.apk installed still until this works.

all 3 checked under user
group is read only checked
others is read only checked

edit I did reboot the phone also
Thank You
Any more advice please?

Only the first 2 should be checked under User, try that and see if it works for you.

I downloaded Handcent from the market, It is either what I want or similar to what I had. (I do not know what the blur version is like or what, I do not think I can get it to work or maybe it is working I just do not know what it does)

Hopefully this works great

Can I remove the mms.apk or does Handcent need it?

Thanks to all
and THANK YOU

In order for you to get all of your messages, including mms, you need conversations.apk, which is your default text messaging app. If you delete it, you will still receive texts but you will no longer receive mms.

Depending on what system/software version you have you either use mms.apk or conversations.apk, if you're able to send/receive text/pic messages with mms.apk you're fine.
