Actually, most UK carriers do not.
Vodafone are the only ones that I am aware of that provide it free and only after a year into your contract

T-mobile G2 is one of the latest phone in the market. You can get free unlock code only for old model mobiles. But it is not possible to get free unlock code for the latest model mobiles.
