Phone memory is where the user apps get installed and part of apps that are apps2sd.
Quite a few people seem to have problems getting past 300mb free range and start to get "Low on space" errors. I get the error at about 380 free (where I am at now). Free of big caches and started clean with all roms.
Seems the Incredible has a memory problem and does not really have 748mb free, as the device lists.
Based on the sample of data the folks here kindly provided, it suggests that the problem would be more common, but most are not as "app hungry" as some of us are.
My guess is the issue is sytemic to the Incredible and there is a correlation of increased "Low on space" errors as users accumulate more apps.
Incredible apparently has a design bug with the "748mb of space". It appears to have hundreds less.
