Help laggy phone with 4g

It seems that sometimes when I turn on 4g my evo starts to lag. Opening apps, typing, receiving messages...etc. but when I turn it off its still laggy and i have to restart to make it go back to normal. This appears to be completely random as it doesn't do it all the time, only sometimes. It doesn't matter whether I have good reception or not. Does this happen to anyone else? If so is there a fix for this or am I just stuck. Posted from my evo :)

actually, i've had mine for about a week and a half and today mine started dragging.. I haven't restarted it yet (which i am assuming will help) but it's funny you should mention it while mine is being so unresponsive.. even just hitting the lock button it takes like 4-5 seconds for the screen to turn on.. weird (and i do have 4g turned on, as of yesterday)

That's odd. I have had mine since it was released and never had any issues at all. I also never rooted.... Not sure you you guys did.
I just rooted yesterday using unrevoked 3.21, but it did it even before I rooted. Still does it now. It just seems completely random. When I do have 4G on and it doesn't lag, it's ****ing awesome. Everything is so snappy and pages load almost as fast as on my computer. But sucks when it does lag out and I'm trying to show off to my friends :(

I wish I had some info to help.... I know that all 2 phones arent the same. Maybe I am one of the lucky ones. Do you guys have any wifi or other analiyzer apps on your phones? Maybe there is some conflict? I am very picky on what apps I do install. Not all apps work well on all phones, of course. maybe something to do with that?

Nope...happens even when absolutely nothing else is running. I had wifi analyzer for a while but I realized I never used it so I uninstalled.
