Two odd problems

I have a feeling it might be the ROM I'm using, but I'm going to ask first.

#1 When ever I go to use anything that requires 3G. Three out of five times my 3G disappears(internet browsing, zedge, etc.). Kind of annoying when you pay for unlimited data but are being limited by lack of functionality.

#2 Applications will only download on wifi, basically. Otherwise it takes twenty minutes to an hour before it decides to start downloading.

I'm going to go back to my stock ROM and see if that fixes it. But if you're on the stock ROM and are experiencing this, let me know.

i had this exact same problem but on big red with my d1. i thought it may also be the rom, but i tried several: cm, bb, sapphire, stock. nothing helped. i just decided it must be big red ripping me off yet again, fortunately i moved to fargo, nd and the problem went away. i'd call sprint and complain, worst they could do is nothing, but maybe will credit your account, verizon did that for me.

What rom do you have?

This sounds to me like a root issue, so, at least for now, I will move it to the All Things Root sub-forum. Hopefully, you will get more help there.

Turn on airplane mode and then turn it back off again. I have read on another forum that this will usually fix the problem. I don't have the problem and I'm using ZenEXP so I can't vouch for the fix. But people swear by doing the above.

Did you go back to the stock rom? Was it fixed?
