Help HELP! I think I might have a green band running on the side of my Fascinate screen!

I got my Fascinate yesterday and today idk if its just me but today I noticed when scroll the notification screen down, I see a band of unusual green but when I scroll up to my home screen nothing happens. I tried dead pixel test and nothing showed up. Is it a software issue? or a hardware issue?

get I exchanged. My sister's 1st Epic 4g had a green screen issue. At first, it only showed when the screen turned off. The whole screen faded to all green when fading off. I already had my epic and knew this was abnormal, so we took it right back in the store and the rep messed with it to see if she could fix it. Soon after I saw her rushing to the back and saw that the screen was ALL green and apparently she couldn't fix that LOL!!

Obviously she brought out a new Epic for her and this screen doesn't have that issue. (Though it has a dengy tint to it whenever the screen is dim or fades off)

Get it exchanged if you can

back to the store is your first port of call. then samsung but really the verizon store should sort it out.

I went to the store today and I checked on the Fascinates displayed there. Those Fascinates had them too xD Its must be a software issue. I feel better now

Spoke to a tech rep and showed me another Fascinate and compared both. It showed up on that Fascinate. After that to be sure I checked on the ones displayed in the store and it showed the green line too.

so how does that solve your problem? or do you think firmware will sort it out?

mine is not a green band but probably 1 pixel line.. its visible with white background but its not there with a blackBG.. so im guessing this IS a faulty screen or a side effect of the pentile matrix ?

Not quite sure. We'll see what happens when 2.2 releases.

Have you tried the app pixelfixer? Try that and see what happens.

I am having the same problem as shown on this shots, should I go and return it or is this a well know issue with all of Samsung Fascinate?
