Our Little Android Buddy

Here's the only one I've done so far that fits the bill. If you have something specific in mind, ask away in the above linked thread.

Thanks to those that replied. Some are creating android wallpaper, but that is not what I was looking for. I wanted an image of just the android robot in black and white. No changes and no wallpaper.

Anyway, I found one on Google's android site.

Now I am lookong for the android type logo (you know, the word "Android") title or name.

In advance, I thank you

Not to be a net copper, but according to Googles Android developer site, the Android logo and custom typeface cannot be used.

I am not sure if they police this, but since the word is apparently owned by someone else, I am not so sure.

You are allowed to use the android robot.

As stated on their site:

"Can be used, reproduced, and modified freely in marketing communications. Our standard color value for print is PMS 376C. Our online hex color is #A4C639.
When using the Android Robot or any modification of it, proper attribution is required under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution license. For more details on proper attribution, please see THIS PAGE."

HOWEVER,

On the same site, Google differentiates between the Robot and the Logo. The Logo is the typeface/font and the word Android. You can use the robot, but not the logo.

PS: Especially important issue if you release an Android product, like T-Shirts.

Um... No. If I'm mistaken my apologies, but it sounds like you're suggesting that I ripped you off, which is simply not true. Mine was inspired by the quite popular movie poster. I've never seen yours before, nor do I have any idea where I would have. Guess we had the same notion independently.

Then you need to reread what I wrote, as I clearly state that I was inspired by the one you had made, so not sure how you've read it and come to the conclusion that's what I was saying.

Clearly...
