turn gps off

I downloaded the GPS ON/OFF app and it crashes when I attempt to run it. Anyone know of another app that I could use to kill the GPS. I was hoping it would help battery life other than the Network off option, just to test it and see how much it helps.

Did you try the HTC GPS setting?

Click the + on your homescreen > HTC Widget > Settings > GPS

If you want to toggle GPS on and off, add the HTC Widget --> Settings --> GPS to one of your screens and you'll see a switch button that you can press to turn it on and off.

If you want to turn it off for good and not think about it, go to Menu --> Location --> uncheck Enable GPS Satellites
