New guy looking to move from BB to droid

Hello all,

Due to the fact that you have to pay fees for company email on BB's, my company is switching all of us over to droids. I personally like my BB and am a little aprehensive about switching, but I suppose I don't have much choice. It looks like my choices are Motorola droid 2, droid X, and Htc Incredible droid.

IMO it seems that the touch screen is more accurate on the HTC, but everyone is telling me that the droid X is the better phone. Whenever I ask my IT department about any of the phones listed above, they tell me the X should be my only option. I am not a tech'y guy, I really only use the phone for talk, text, email and the occasional web search. Anyone have an opinion on which phone might be best for a business guy like me?

Any input would be much appreciated.

thanks,

Welcome to the Android Forums!

It really depends on how you plan to use the phone. IMO the Droid X rocks! The DINC is a really good phone but has really short battery life. To mitigate the battery life you either have to plan to re-charge the battery during the day or get yourself an extended battery. If you sit at a desk all day then this might not be a big issue. If, on the other hand, you are out and about frequently then you might want to consider a phone with lots of battery life.

Thanks for the reply, Martimus!

Any input on the droid 2, or should that not even be an option?
