For those wanting to get rid of the "Ultimate Droid" branding on the lockscreen, you could do what I did.
This is my step-by-step.
Save the image you want as the lockscreen, as a png file somewhere on your SD card. (I also renamed it to lockscreen_background, not sure if the renaming is needed.)
Get the NinjaMorph app from the Market.
- Open NinjaMorph
- Start checks
- New project
- system
- framework
- framework-res.apk
- res
- drawable-hdpi
Find lockscreen_background.png - touch it (It will ask what you want to replace it with.)
Locate the png you saved earlier - touch it
- yes
- back
- Finish project
- framework-resapk
- yes
- yes or no, your choice (I hit yes, haven't had any problems.)
- ok
- Yes (to delete/cleanup project)
- Then reboot.
You can see I also went with the rotary lockscreen in the Ultimate Droid Setting.
It resets the wallpaper to the default one, just change it back to whatever you want.
Hope this helps.
