Hey Guys, Do you know how to check the lifetimer on this phone so i can see if it is brand new or not, in other Sony Ericsson phones it use to be something like *right right and so forth.

Btw if u didn't know what a lifetimer is, lifetimer shows if the phone has been use to make phone calls and it will show in 00:00 and in increments of minutes

Thanks

In the mini's, from the unlock screen it

Home Back Back Home
Back Home Home Back

And that takes you into the secret menu. It's in there somewhere - Service Tests then scroll down to Total Call time.

Thanks :)

I'm loving this mini phone so far, can't believe they packed all the features in this small lil touchscreen phone, it can actually be mistaken for a small light touchscreen mp3 player and it has a 5mp camera, 30fps video, wifi, messaging and it is a fone lol

BTW how long is the recharging time from 0% back to full charge?

I have the large so may be different but I put mine on charge last night around 11pm @38% and looking at the Battery Graph app that I have it was fully charged just after 1pm.

I know some people who have had problems with their phone locking up if they allow battery to zero out. My advice would be to catch it before it drops below 15-20% and get it on charge. The phone runs a charge cycle that lets it charge to 100% and then stops charging til the charge drops to low 90's then starts again. It stops the battery overcharging. If you get the battery graph app I mentioned it displays it perfectly

Don't think ADW should make any difference, I have that on my biggun and the process on that is slightly different

Menu Back Back Menu
Back Menu Menu Back

But I understand in the mini's that the Menu key is used to unlock the phone whereas on the biggy you have the swype thing on screen to unlock. Basically as long as the keys are pressed from the unlock screen without it actually being unlocked whatever launcher you are using won't have launched so shouldn't make a difference.

You could always flick back over to the stock launcher and give it a bash (I use Home Switcher app free from the market to switch between launchers and set as default)

Let us know if you can get it to work and which launcher it will do it on.

So around 2 hours then? Is there an application that I can get in the market to show notification or clock instead of having the display in full black out like a standby screensaver?

It might just be cos its the end of a very long week, but I'm not with you... are we still talking about the battery / lifetimer / or something else entirely :D:D

Diff topic :p, I'm talking about the display after a while it goes to standby and display is completely blank, older sony ericsson phones and current phones has the standby where there is standby clock is shown or some kind of screensaver

OK so the world has stopped and let me get back on. Sorry!

I don't think there is anything as the screen is one of the major consumers of battery and my guess is that to keep it running with some kind of image would kill the phone even quicker.

I am always happy to be proved wrong so if anyone else can chip in with something, feel free.
