In case you're wondering, the I got the red battery door from a local Verizon store, and I ordered the carbon fiber pieces on Ebay.

I like the all black too, but I wanted some contrast with the carbon fiber. Might buy another CF kit and try it on the stock battery door.

I was going to order a 4"x4" pieced of the CF and cut it myself, but I found a pre-cut set on Ebay.

FYI - If you are going to cut carbon fiber take precautions. It's not human-friendly stuff!

I'm considering taking it off, since I keep bruising my ear. It's so light that sometimes I noticed it gently lifting off my desk and floating into the air. I want my money back!

I checked at my local Verizon store and they wanted $25 for the red battery cover. I said hell no and walked out. All it is is the cheap plastic back cover molded in red color. Not worth $25

I was fortunate enough to have walked into a verizon store that was seemingly giving 25% discounts to anyone buying any accessory. I went ahead and bought the red and the white. Came out to $40

The only concern I have about keeping my phone "naked" with these new covers is potentially scratching or breaking the camera lens. I suppose i'll have to get into a habit of turning it face-down every time I leave it on any hard surface.
