Just want to know, is there a Galaxy S phone that could be used on the Verizon Network and then on a local European provider. Reason I ask is I want to be able to use my same phone that I have with Verizon on a European network. I know Europe uses GSM and Verizon CDMA, but isn't verizon slowly moving into GSM as well.

Would anyone know of a phone that would support this? If not a Galaxy S, then something else?

The Short answer is no. Verizon is not moving to GSM, because that would be very expensive and CDMA is a better technology (although don't confuse convenience for better). Verizon has released a few "world phones" that have both a CDMA and a GSM radio in them, but the Galaxy S is not one of them. They do have a Droid 2 World Phone coming out in a few months, so if you need the ability and have time to wait, I'd probably go with that.
