I want an app to show the built in battery usage

Here is a couple screens from my EVO. When it warns you to plug in the phone it also has a button to check usage that is built into the phone. Wish somone could build an app directly to this. As the battery was draining (almost dead) I left this screen up (waiting for it to die) total of 13hrs and 20+ min. It does not use any battery to check this. Look at how long it has been unplugged. The BT, Sprint Nav and Beautiful widgets never get killed by my task killer because these are a must for my job. I am a Professional Driver of 21 years and these are needed.

check this out

and this

honestly there are several threads on battery subject but I think you will really like the first link

I created a shortcut using folder organizer to just take me straight to that screen.
I rarely use it

I did see the first link you posted before I posted this and thats not what I want. If there were a shortcut to the screen (internal battery usage) I showed, there would be no extra battery usage to check it. As suggested by the link to SystemPanel App / Task Manager, it should not be running all the time because most battery apps use more juice. The second link, I don't need to do either because my phone is always plugged in and as I said, I am a driver which suggests I am always in a vehicle except for my short jaunts to the store when I am home.
This was purely a request, not a necessity for me.

There are several LauncherPro's. Which one by who? and why wouldn't you use it just for this?

LauncherPro is a home app replacement. I use it and think it's great, but I wouldn't recommend it just for this.

This is the one I am referring to:

I just released an application that shows your battery charge (and plays a tune when your battery is fully charged.) You can search for Battery Tune in the Android Market to download it. (Sorry, I don't know how to link directly to it yet.)

This is an early version of the product and I will be updating it often with more features, and sounds. Please feel free to send me any feature requests!
