Help How do I turn the screen off when plugged in?

It's my wife who has the Incredible and neither of us can figure out how to turn the screen off when it's plugged in and charging. It stays on all night and is very annoying. If there is a mode to turn this off, please enlighten me. Thanks!

Mine just goes black after a few seconds. I assume you tried pushing the top button to turn it off?

Just tap the power button, the same way you wake it up.

If yours doesn't turn off on its own it sounds like you have the stay awake option checked. Menu - applications - development.
