Help Number of times notification sounds

Hi all, is there a way of increasing the number of times the phone sounds a notification when a text message is received, perhaps going off until the message is read ?

Not sure about being on the phone but I'm sure there is an app on the market, I just look at the phones LED to see if it's flashing and if so then something has happened and there are apps to let you set what colour the LED flash's for different notifications.

I use HANDCENT SMS for my text messaging - inside the app there is an option to set the number of times a notification is sounded for unread messages and the gap between each notification

I would assume you could set it for say 60 times every 60 seconds if you wanted to get reminded for an entire hour that you had a message

Usually read mine within 5 minutes though lol - but i think that is your solution
