Help piece of **** phone!

i think im about to loose my god damn mind. ive been coping with the issues of this phone, and ive been patiently dealing with them. the phone constantly calling the wrong person from my call log, i can live with, angry as it makes me, i live with it. the phone just topped the list with this act. i had the screen locked. phone hadnt been used for almost 30 minutes. i plug it into my charger, and i hear a ringing, i look the screen is locked but lit up as it does when i plug it in, and the phone call handset picture is on, the piece of **** crap had started to call someone. and this was a person i had called almost 11 hours ago and ive since made a half dozen calls to other people. i had to pull down the drop down menu to end the call. yeah real nice getting a phone call at 1245 in the morning. **** me, im calling rogers and loosing it on some ***** call center rep tomorrow. i can see the phone acting out and freezing and lagging, but calling people on its own because i plug it in to charge. thats *****.

My phone's been a little angel. Not sure what's up with yours, but it's not "the phone," it's definitely your phone. You may want to try to run a repair via the PC Companion just to rule out the problem can't be fixed in that manner, or perhaps get it into a repair shop.

Sorry to hear about your troubles though.

Looking through your posting history, it seems that the phone is not best one for you. Suggest to either return it for something else or get it into a repair shop like allbutlost said and have them look it over and try to fix it.

Also, please refrain from cursing so much in your posts.

my phones does it now and then too, but it's because i have a direct dial shortcut on my home screen, then it doesn't lock properly and calls random people..

sorry guys i was extra pissed last night, quarter to 1 in the morning the phone calls someone on its own. its 2 weeks old was just replaced, was acting up last week so i did the reinstall on it on monday and now its doing this. you can understand my frustration with this phone.

Did you do the re-install via SEUS? As this completely erases everything on the phone, which is probably what needs to be done. So try again, but format your SD card too, if you can

im far from angry wombly, im quite happy actually, this phone annoys me more than damn near anything else i have going on in my life. you can imagine my frustration when i have a phone thats barely working, is 2 weeks old, and has been flashed and had its software re installed once already. god forbid i ask the phone to do what its meant to do and not **** up 30 times a day. lol.

back to the future, best movie series ever, although i hear that little tosser justin bieber is supposed to play marty mcfly in the remake, i cant stand that little shit and id like to see him drown. infact id like to hop in the delorean go back in time and castrate his father with a shovel, haha yes im that ****ed

We have formed a small community in the X10 section and we dont venture out to much.

With the posts you have removed there was also posts from the OP who also joined in with the joke that was going on, if this forum is run as a dictator ship then please block my username as for me the fun of this place just got a lot less.

As a moderator of another forum that has segregation going on between differing sections then I know that small community exist on forums.

Or get a grip and lighten up

I have to agree with powerkiter. Us X10 users do have a small community going in this section, which is the main reason I visit this forum everyday. We're like a big family lol

I stay in the X10 forum, and only browse other parts of the forum when this part is dead

The deleted posts had nothing whatsoever to do with either the OP's issues or the X10 in general. Let's imagine somebody else stumbles in here with a similar problem, sees the initial post.... then has to wade through a couple of pages of off-topic 'banter' whilst trying to find answers? The whole ethos of AF is providing help and info, and while we appreciate your "sense of community" it has to be said that the device-specific forums are not intended as general purpose lounges. We've already got two of those, one for general-purpose topics and another for Android-related stuff. You should try them sometime... there's a lot of interesting discussion happening.

If anyone has a problem with this, then please take it up with the site admins via PM.

The OP states in post 11 that they have already tried reflashing and is still in the same boat, and as no one seems to have a solution for them there isn't/wasn't an answer to find.

The moderator response would not be considered off topic banter since he was responding to your inquiry. Which in all honesty the staff does not have to but as a courtesy some of us do explain our actions.
Your post as well as a few others were soft deleted since they did not add anything to the topic at hand.
And you are correct, the whole thread should have been removed due to its excessive cursing and thread title, but I decided to clean it up and allow some replies that would help the OP. Now that that has happened and seeing how this thread is starting to be a tic for tat about our moderation of off topic stuff in technical threads, I will therefore close it to avoid any further problems.
