Help I just set up my R2D2 Droid 2

I just set up my R2D2 Droid 2 and my Twitter and Facebook contacts are showing up my contact list. How can I at least merge the same people and/or remove Facebook and Twitter so I just have my Google contacts in my contact list?

Not sure how to merge them. But you can go to Menu-settings-accounts, and remove facebook and twitter.

If my perusal of the Droid X manual is any indication, there should be a "Link Contacts" menu option, or something similar.

This is correct. Click on the contact, then menu, then link.

Yay, I'm answering Android questions without even owning an Android phone.

Be warned that it will, at random, decide that the person's Twitter/Facebook name is their "real" name. I'm still trying to find a workaround, but it's been frustrating me so far. So, just be warned that linked contacts have some glitches.
