Yeah, it's confirmed 2.2 is getting launched this weekend - well, it's Saturday today, may be it's already in the air. But I haven't got my Desire with me. It's with HTC technical support for repair. But I am really excited to have it back soon and install 2.2. I got to know about 2.2 from the following link.

Pretty sure that my phone will get the update as its definitely unlocked, unbranded and has the right software number that others say it needs to be. I have not got the update available yet and you read my mind with starting this thread :)

Here's hoping its not too long :)

By the way totally see the point of this thread as Peeps want to know when to start checking.

Hi, Im new here.... I have had my HTC Desire for a few months now, but just recently, when trying to end a call, my phone goes a bit do lally and freezes and I cant get the screen to come back on (as most of you know the screen turns off when making a call) and as soon as the screen comes back on, as soon as I try to do anything it goes off again... very frustrating!

(I hope Im making some sense!!)

Do you think I should reset my phone back to its original settings? Or does anyone else have any ideas?

Many thanks
