Help Advantage of connecting to PC?

Hey all,

I am not talking about music files here, but with my BlackBerry and Iphone, you are able to make changes to the phone, manage apps, etc when connected to the PC (Itunes and BlackBerry Desktop).

Now is there a Samsung Epic software suite? I think I remember something that was preinstalled on the phone that you install to the PC, but I can't find that post....

For overseas markets, Samsung has a PC utlity called Kies that can update firmware, sync files and tether Internet connections. This software is not supported in the United States, but there now is a Mini Kies available for Vibrants and Captivates with the sole function of flashing firmware. No such utility yet exists for the Epic.
