Hey all.... thought I would pass along what I found for those interested. I was looking for a charging dock for my evo, and not liking what I was finding.

http://cgi.ebay.com/Battery-Charger...655316?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item41535fb494

Upon doing extensive searching on Ebay, I found this. I ordered this dock, have received it, and I love it. It has a slot on the back to charge a extra battery, and the dock is a great fit. I have this dock on my nightstand, and at the end of the night, I just drop it in. The power cord that comes with it charges at the same rate as if it were charging by usb port. If you dont like that, you can power it with your regular wall charger. Also, it has two power inputs, one is for the phone dock part, and the other is for the spare battery slot.

Before anyone says anything, I realize that the phone pictured in the photo is not an Evo. I can assure you that this dock is made for the evo, and you have nothing to worr about. ( I noticed this too, and contacted the seller before I got mine)

If you are looking for a good charging dock, you can't go wrong with this one. I think this is the best $20 I have spent so far on an Evo accessory.

Sorry, I wasn't trying to diss the dock, just pointing out another mistake in the listing. I see that he has sold quite a few of these, and I'm thinking about ordering one myself. :)

I like to keep both the USB cable and the wall charger plugged in to the dock all the time, so that my phone stays synchronized when the computer is on, and when I turn my computer on in the morning, both batteries are fully charged. However, I've had a problem with two docks for two different phones.

With those two, the DC from the wall charger feeds back through the USB cable in the dock and into my computer when it's turned off. This keeps my chassis fans running, and my keyboard lights on. Who knows what kind of damage this could cause if left connected this way.

Does anyone know if this dock has this defective wiring too?

Has anyone tried this with the wall charger plugged into the wall and USB cable plugged into the computer to see if it back feeds voltage to the computer, when the computer is off?
