Help reset phone to di07 and no ota to di18

I had rooted my Epic 4g and decided to go back to stock. So I followed instructions in another thread and loaded the stock di07 rom. Everything is fine now. But I went to PHONE and checked on updates and it reports back that my system is up to date.

I know there is a stock di18 rom out, but I wanted to ensure that everything was working as the day I bought it and wanted it to update itself OTA.

I just did this last night. Should I wait a few days to see if it gets an update on it's own?

well, it's been several days and you have tried the market trick, so you have two options: 1) manually upgrade to DI18, or 2) take it to sprint service center and get them to upgrade it. just my suggestion.
