Hi.

I was wandering if anybody could help me with the email notification problem im currently having. Iphones and blackberrys al give you a notification when you receive a new email or a new facebook message. The galaxy s does nothing when you receive a new mail. In settings you can select a ringtone, set it to vibrate when you receive a message. But nothing happens. The only way to find out if there any new messages is by clicking on the email app ( in which i am using hotmail).

Can somebody help me with this?

Hi, I would suggest listening to the above posters. Notifications are indeed working. On my phone I get a little yellow letter and a sound playing everytime I get an email. This works both for my POP and Exchange accounts (and GMAIL although the icon and sound is different). So check your background sync, your notification settings in each account and so forth and I am sure you will find it to work. This however, in my finding, stops to work if you for some reason kill the email software with a task manager - then you will manually have to check the email or restart for it to work again.
