Help EVO blacking out and Screen leakage

Rooted EVO screen blacking out and I have a bit of screen leakage at the bottom of the phone. What can I do?

What do you mean "Blacking Out"?
Where is the leakage? When you hold the phone upright, do you see the leakage when looking down on it (leaking above the buttons), or upward (leaking on the bottom edge where the screen meets the bezel)?

I have leakage when I look down on it near the buttons. And what I mean by "blacking out" is that the screen just goes black and I have to pull the battery out for it to work again. I've had the evo for about 2 months.

1) That's normal. Annoying, but completely normal and is that way for every single one on the market. Light leakage is when light is coming out from the bottom of the phone. The ability to see the light from the button LEDs through the screen when looking down on them is normal, so don't sweat it

2) That's strange, does it do that WHILE you are using the phone? When does it happen? The power button does nothing until you first pull the battery?

Yes it does. Completely out of now where last time I was reading my tweets and it just blacked out. I try to use the power button But, I cannot see the screen so I can't confirm to power it off. It happens not often but is very annoying.
