Since I made a Discussion thread, I thought its only fair I would make an accessory thread to go with it.

PLEASE NOTE: As you can appreciate, I can't scour every website known to man to find the cheapest accessories so if you find any that are not listed or the same that is cheaper, please list and it and i'll get it added. Thanks!

Memory Cards

16GB Micro-SD Card -

The pouch looks okay, but i think ultimately it would annoy me. Not keen on the gel case either, makes it look cheap.

I may hold out for a Seidio Innocase - I had one on my Iphone 3G and it was excellent

Doesn't appear to cover the screens on handsets and on a large screen touch screen handset that's a huge necessity. If you scratch or damage the screen it's ruined in terms of looks and possibly use.

Pouches for me every time, keeps them safe and keeps them clean.

I'm just waiting for a decent car holder to come out. My Desire's holder was great but now I have the Desire HD it doesn't fit :( I don't want a chunky, ugly and useless universal holder, so I guess I'll be waiting a while....

Is it? I have an SGS and Iphone 3g and have never had screen protector - no problems so far.

I would say so, yes.

The screen is a massively important part of a touch screen device. If you scratch it you'll reduce it's effectiveness and it also looks less attractive.

I just remember back to when I had an N97 and placed that in my pocket that also had my front door key in it. 20 minutes later I had a noticeable scratch on the handset's screen :(

Personally I like that brand new handset look that you get when you first open the box to your new device. The screen's shiny, the device is clean and it's not covered in finger prints. Keep the screen protected helps it stay that way.

I don't use a screen protector myself, but that's because I don't use a case for my handset. I use a sleeve which protects the screen as well as the handset. The bonus part is that it has a cleaner inside the sleeve so every time I place it in and remove it all the finger prints are removed and it looks new and shiny :D

BTW, here is a review for HTC Desire HD ACE Pouch PO S550

Thanks for the video Eozen81 :)

May I ask for potential cradle users that How do you manage to put headsets on once you put the phone on device?

Is there any cradle forwards bottom 3,5 jack into a different place on the cradle? Ha ha is it so fantastic idead?

I'm wondering myself..When I get round to picking one up, i'll let you know :)

Stupid question alert:

I plan on placing some videos on my DHD.

1) Is it really necessary to buy an extra MicroSD card? I heard videos could be smoother running from the card than phone.

2) If yes, is there a specific kind of brand which is better than the rest?

1: Its not necessary unless you inetend to fill about 5gb or more and then you are going to need a higher card

2: Its more about class of the card than anything, although there is an interesting post here on comparing speeds
