So I am one of the many that feel the F.B app for Android needs some work. We won't get into discussion about what it needs and what works fine, we have a dozen threads about that already. Basically what I created this thread was to inform you all that " The squeaky wheel gets the grease!"

I think we all need to email the developers and let them know we feel it could use some work and we would appreciate it. We don't need to blast them and insult them about it, but I feel we should let our voices be heard.

Go to market place and press your menu button and press downloads. Scroll to Facebook for android and click on it. scroll down till you see " Send email to developer". Now you click on that and send your email away.

I already sent mine.

-I've already written a lengthy email detailing the areas that need improvements.
-I've liked the facebook for android app on facebook and rated it a one star along with voicing my opinion there.
-And of course rated it a one star on the android market and briefly stating why the lower rating.

It's a shame at the failure that is the facebook app for android. It's pretty useless for me. But i leave it installed hoping one day I'll see an update in the market for it and I'll be content. I can dream, right?

It doesn't suck. If you think it sucks stop using it or get off of your lazy @$$ and make your own!

It just needs a little work to be good. We don't even have places yet!
Yeah, right... End Users should be expected to be able to develop all their own quality apps.

That app itself is indeed quite bad compared to the same app on all the other platforms. Even the developers of the app have admitted that the Android app needs a lot of work.

Constructive criticism is much different than saying the app "sucks" or something similar. Anybody can develop apps if they are willing to take the time to learn. Yes, it can take years to learn...
