Help returning phone to best buy for battery issue

Determined I have a weak battery and will be returning g to phone today. Wondering if they replace the whole phone or just the battery. If they give me a new phone what do I need to do to make sure no personal info is left on the phone and in apps. Also, what happens to apps that I have paid for and installed. Do I need to pay again to dl them if I get a new phone?

you were answered in the support section on the market and personal data issue. :)

as for the battery they will prolly just try and replace that first instead of a whole phone.
