As the title says this is project they are working on over at XDA that will overclock the Vibrant to 1.6Ghz. I did this last night and it works perfect, some phones cant handle it, so be very careful

and for god sake DISABLE VOODOO before proceeding to flash this!!!!

I also installed the RyanOCLF 2.2 and saw 3150 Quad scores, I know I know it doesnt matter, just kinda gave me a chubby!

Battery never gets overs 100. Works pretty solid on my phone

You are more daring than me. I'll wait a bit and see what develops. A 60% overclock is insane. And they want to get to 2GHz! Gettin' a bit scary out there.

Whats funny is that I am noticing a very very very slight lag with it!!!! How the hell is that possible? With 1.2 it was smooth

I am going to run it for a day or so and then rebuild to 1.1 with jacs and voodoo

The reports are mixed, but overall pretty good. And this is an alpha release! There are other reports of lag, but it appears some of that could be due to the GPU not syncing correctly with the incredible overclocking of the CPU. Interesting stuff...I wish I had more technical knowledge about it all.

As it turns out it was more of a placebo, it was cool for 24 hours when everyone, including me, thought it was actually overclocking the phone!@

Oh well

Yeah...it's all rather strange, isn't it? I can't say I'm overly surprised...I was having a hard time accepting a 60% overclock. I mean, if they can actually get it to that point, more power to them, but I'd be hesitant to try it! :)
