Root Question.

New to the android community, just had one small question. When I'm installing themes how do I make the actual theme wallpaper become active? It seems that when I install themes, my custom wallpaper is still active.

some themes dont have a custom wallpaper and some do ...long pres your home screen and select wallpaper and there will sometimes be a wallpaper there that the dev has included with the theme but like i said some do and some dont

Thanks, makes perfect sense. But in that case I worded the question wrong. I meant to ask for the widget changes. I just downloaded the BiG Droid X theme and the weather and clock widgets didnt appear on the home screen

Oh yeah, one more question, if I am rooted and deodexed (with a theme installed), if there was a possibility I needed to unvoid my warranty, can I jus input that code into terminal to unroot? Or will there be difficulties? Will all my previous settings restore before I rooted?

if you had to bring your x in for any reason you can unroot and do a factory reset or and if that doesnt work you can always flash the 2.2 sbf and go back to stock

You have to dl beautiful widgets from the market then dl the clock and weather skins from there

If you ever need to return your phone to Verizon, a factory reset will NOT unroot you or remove custom ROMs or themes, you will need to use the SBF to go completely back to factory state.

Big DX adds a "BigDX!" folder to your sd card. In there you will find themed apps and widgets. Select the app you want, long press and choose install.
